The WWE has released an official statement regarding the arrest warrant on Heath Slater.
We reported an hour ago that the Atlanta police department has issued an arrest warrant for a "simple assault / battery" charge on Slater. This relates to an alleged incident which happened in April 2011.

WWE sent the following statement this evening in regards to the reports on Heath Slater:
"WWE has been advised that a misdemeanor arrest warrant has been issued against Heath Miller (aka Heath Slater), but we have not seen a copy or been provided with the underlying charges. Once this information is received by WWE, we will take the appropriate action."

In the previous report, we noted that there had been considerable delays with this complaint. We know know that the person who made the report, Corine Oliver, had filed fresh paperwork without counsel on September 4th, 2014. The notice of filing was approved on November 24th, and then court costs were updated today. There has been activity on the case. So there has been activity on the case. But previous details regarding delays and the initial rejection last year remain true.
