Please note that WrestleMania 30 will not be happening until Spring 2014, most of these can, and likely will, be changed.
At this point in time, the plan is to hold WrestleMania 30 in Dallas, Texas. As reported multiple times, WrestleManias 1, 10 and 20 were all held the Madison Square Garden arena in New York City. The chances of the tradition continuing is low. Mainly because Vince McMahon wants each WM to break attendance records, but the MSG arena would be too small to achieve this. There could actually be an announcement confirming the location as soon as next month.
There are several reasons for wanting to hold the event in Texas. One of them is the possible induction of The Undertaker into the Hall of Fame.
There is internal speculation that the event will host the final career matches of at least 2 out of 3 former stars native to Texas; JBL, Undertaker and Steve Austin.
At this point, JBL has been resistant to all ideas involving either WrestleMania 29 or 30. But he may change his mind closer to the time. There has been talk of including him in a Hall of Fame, but JBL has not been approached seriously about this.
There was once a plan to have Rock vs Cena III at WrestleMania 30, but those plans are likely to be nixed now. The WWE are keen to have a rematch, but there will likely only be one now.
There is conflict about the name of the show. Should it be WrestleMania 30 or WrestleMania xXx. This is a decision that could be decided by the end of this year.
There is also some speculation that Vince McMahon will be looking to retire at the conclusion of WM30 weekend. At this point, control of the company will go to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque. But few think that McMahon would give up control of the company before health issues forced him to stop.
