WWE wrestler Zack Ryder resurfaced on his weekly YouTube show Friday and sold his current injury angle by wearing a neckbrace. Bits include Ryder addressing whether he's "sold out" by moving his series to WWE's YouTube page, Curt Hawkins trying to steal the show, and a "Star Wars" tour.

TDK's Rant:

Ryder's still taking a lot of heat about 'selling out' and moving to the main WWE page. Although, in typical Vince fashion, comments are suddenly disabled to squelch free expression. So like, what where we all worried about? Things are just going to get bigger and better. Right? Right?

Can't say I blame you... Once it went mainstream it lost the populist feel that made it big in the first place. Silly idea that, moving a grassroots success over to the corporate office and hoping nobody would notice. :blink:

One thing that my fellow Zack Ryder fans don't seem to realise is that the WWE OWNS Zack Ryder.

If they fire him, Matthew Cordona cannot take the Zack Ryder gimmick with him. And he can't just go to ROH or TNA as Zach Rider. The WWE owns most of his character, not just the name. So if the WWE tells him to move his show, he has no choice. Ryder didn't sell out. He is merely trying to keep his job. And in this day and age, this is not selling out. If he had left the WWE to act in television or movies, with permission to use the Zack Ryder name, then he has sold out (no offence 'The Rock').

One of the advantages is, now Zack has more permission to allow other Superstars, Divas and WWE footage in his shows. This is a good thing.

And was Curt Hawkins wearing lipstick?
