What stops you from creating saves for other AKI games?

Just want to get some discussions going.

As you know, everyone these days tends to create saves for No Mercy. The other AKI games don't seem to get the same love.

So the question I ask you is what makes you want to make a save in No Mercy rather than the other AKI games?

I think it's because there are so many cheats and resources out there already available for No Mercy that are not there for any of the other games that it just turns people off from doing saves for the other games.

No Mercy was such an important game to me that I will never really let go of it, and so it lets me have a bond with something I love while getting to express myself creatively through it....

... it's just awesome.

So yeah, sentimentality.

Yeah, this is pretty much it!! I tried texturing world tour but since all the wrestlers share the same textures it's a pain in the ass!!

Hell I tried putting Hayabusa in Revenge (over Han Zo Mon) using VPW2 textures but had to change some stuff so it doesn't clash with other textures, as well as you can't change the shape of the characters body or head size in that game :

I tried doing VPW2 but can't seem to get the Nemu emulator to work as it keeps crashing on me to make movesets!!

So, the main issue is the lack of resources for the other games. Hmm OK. If there were more resources for them, would it tempt people to try those games?

Honestly I'd prefer to mod WWF Wrestlemania 2000 because I like the carer mode and the fact that they have full entrances, but I don't because I don't like the player models nor do I like some of the Game Play. To me No Mercy is easy to mod, but the Player models and Gameplay are the main reason I like to F' Wit it..... I low-key need to get back to modding though.

It is a pain to try and get the body parts to line up right in say VPW2 or WM2K for example. It's even tougher to go at it from scratch because some of the No Mercy textures aren't compatible with the other games.

I don't want to toot my own horn and self promote, but I'd really love for you to try and replace some of the unique textures like those of Tiger Mask or whomever with the original VPW's textures I posted in this board. Of course there'd have to be some resizing to be done, but I'd love to help you out in that regard!

In reference to your video, though, I wish to point out (as I did on reddit one time) that Han Zo Mon is actually more Tiger Mask than he is Hayabusa. His moveset save for his flying moves, taunts, and his finisher(s?) is identical to that of Tiger Mask in VPW64.

i've always wanted to re-mod revenge, but just can't get past permanent moves.

Stable moveset codes? That sounds new to me. I can't even find any movesets or any grapple mods for Revenge

Stable -- Not stable as in nWo White, Wolfpack, etc. Stable as in isn't static in the memory. I guess like the ones for WWF No Mercy

I've found moveset modifiers, but I can't find the ones that are used for the Costume Edit + Select Screen + Entrance taunts.

kinda the same with me with WWF WM2000 hence why i am doing my project.

The Revenge textures line up fine sometimes you may have to cut n paste here and there but it's awesome! VPW2 textures work perfect, except for Masks (another thing that could be awesome to hack)

All my caws can have their Hair 1 changed too, which comes in handy and fun!

all my textures are working fine and still have room for plenty more since hardly anyone uses pink, green and silver colors!

Imagine if ya'll jumped on board and we made an amazing All-In-1 AKI game...

One thing that is gonna set me back is doing the title belts and adding a Smackdown or Nitro arena

Maximo was the one doing that for our project, hence why he did that awesome Hybrid ring in VPW2 (unfortunately I didn't get it off him) but you can imagine how long it would've taken him!

So nothing is stopping me except lack of time and motivation
(its no fun to play a 4 player game all by yourself, all the time)

I would just really love that "edit all" code to be complete for vpw2, Im dying to make my own super save with untextured caws. I know I can use mempacks but I think I only found the codes/values to add one mempack to the menu.

I really think this will bring some people back to vpw2 because as someone said in another post it will be like fire pro, so many wrestler slots.

My plan is to make a sort update to wcw vs nwo: world tour.
Called WCW/nWo: Tokyo Bash. Having more wcw wrestlers, nwo Gundam, the updated japanese wrestler edits with their previous faked attires and names. And adding Dx to the game as if theyre doing an invasion.

Im at a road block, cant get nemu to work and dont want to really dive into that route of move hacking.
Its making me think of just doing 32 Caw slots and some of the in game roster and calling it a day.
