Where is Mysterio?

Multiple websites are trying to make a small story into something serious.

Mysterio had decided earlier this year that he wants to push back retirement as long as possible. But in order to do this, he needs much more time off than he has been receiving. His high risk style has left him with multiple back and leg injuries which are no longer healing, and can no longer be repaired by surgery. This is half of the reason why Mysterio has been teaming with Sin Cara lately, so that Mysterio could work easier matches.

Mysterio was not at Raw this week, and will not be at SmackDown either. This is because of the agreement to allow him more time to recover from his ongoing injuries. If Mysterio does not have this time regularly, he could permanently lose the ability to walk.

Sin Cara is younger and in much better shape. He does not require the same time off that Mysterio does. And also, the other reason why they are teaming is to try an make Sin Cara a better performer. He will need the singles match experience he gets whenever Mysterio is not around.

There is no word as to whether or not Mysterio will retire after WrestleMania 29 or not, but he is keen to try and keep going on.

He did it all , he should have a retirement match against Cara at WM 29. It could be like passing the torch to Cara. Why not?

I have only one disagreement with what you just said Christian. Sin Cara is far from ready to carry the torch. But I agree with every other thing you said. Retiring and passing on the torch would be a shameless act for Mysterio.
