Indeed! For what she was, we should never forget for what she gave.... Her music!!

You know, the human mind works in mysterious ways and sometimes our control over ourselfs goes and our dark side comes out!!

We may think that her current events was her own fault, and indeed it was. But remember we are humans and sometimes we take the wrong path.. Are we celebs living in a political, corrupted environement???? NO! WTF do we know. We are common folk.

As Phil originally mentioned, this is a woman who suffered horrible abuse at the hands of her husband. But she is a woman who led a very private life. Let's be honest. Stories of her looking ill or being under the influence of drugs were few and far between. We have no idea what has been happening in her life.

She grew up amongst a number of 'Dreamgirl Divas'. And looked what happened to so many of them. Even the ones who made it to the top have experienced terrible violence and close family tragedies. And then there are the dozens that didn't make it. We are only beginning to understand the horror that they have had to go through.

If this was a suicide or drug death, I will hold up my hands and accept whatever the police discover. But even then, I will choose to remember the woman who gave us some of the most inspiring music of the last 30 years. And one of the most epic films of all time.

I'm not going to comment on her private life, 'cause truth is... we're all messed up in one way or another... In terms of talent, she was almost untouchable, so much respect for the gifts that are lost and thoughts and prayers for the loved ones she left behind.

May she finally find the peace that seemed to elude her in life... :yes:

All I know, is that when the bums downtown die, no one is gonna be saying so many kind things about them. Regardless of their addictions and short-comings, no one will really care.

Whitney was a MILLIONAIRE. She had every single luxury and ability to improve her life that people like us can only dream about. She screwed it up.

I have no sympathy for Whitney. sorry, guys. I'll stop commenting, though. Not trying to mess with anyone's feelings.

She screwed everything up, and she had so much. She had a wonderful voice and talent. But yet she ruined it all, and I hate the fact that her drug addiction led her to death.

Yes, she was a huge addict, but she is dead, and we need to show some respect to her. Unfortunately, she is not the first or the last to lose it all because of drugs.

I loved Whitney Houston, and the reasons why are my own right. And some of you didn't, and the reasons why are your own right. And I don't want any of us to fall out over someone that none of us have actually spoken to in any way.
