Windows XP themes not working

I have recently downgraded (Rather say Upgraded) my PC from Seven to XP Home Edition. I have installed quite a lot themes. THey worked properly.

But there were many more themes that I downloaded from Deviantart.com....I found those themes quite beautiful for my XP. I downloaded, put them in C:/WINDOWS/Resources/Themes/
...folder (.theme files are put in front, .msstyles files are put in a folder) I see that the ".msstyles" dont work even I put them like the .theme files ...
They dont even show up after double clicking them. All I get is a Windows Classic Style preview and when I scroll, I see that ".msstyles" file. But while opening it separately (System Properties>Appearance) ...I dont even see their name.

One word: HELP!

I would never leave windows xp, it's one of the best os's of the decade.
