<blockquote class='quote\\_blockquote'><dl><dt>Quote:</dt><dd> </dd></dl><div>- WWE has reportedly re-signed Matt Bloom, currently working for New Japan Pro Wrestling as Giant Bernard. He has formerly wrestled for WWE as Prince Albert and A-Train.

Bloom is currently scheduled to return to WWE after WrestleMania 28 is over.

Bloom will reportedly be the new henchman for John Laurinaitis. [/quote]

Im not happy about this one bit!! Giant Barnard was rocking in NJPW and was a awesome performer along with his tag partner Karl Anderson. I dont see this a positive move for Bloom at all!!!

WWE gains, while a legit wrestling company suffers.

I always liked Albert for some reason so, it will be interesting to see what they do with him. Or they'll D' Lo him. :(

Wait wait wait. If that's the case, doesn't that mean that John Laurinaitis's team is gonna win the match at mania? I don't see how they will continue to appear on TV if that didn't happen, much less having Giant Bernard as a henchman.

Actually, I'm betting that this isn't bad for Albert at all. He'll get to work in the country he lives in , make more money, and have national exposure on a world-wide platform. How is this bad for Albert at all? Because he might get buried?

He should. A vet like that could make a lot of the younger guys look even better than they already do.

I follow him on Twitter, and he has been saying that he wanted to have the last few years of his career in America. And over the last several months, he started saying it more often. Like Phil said, he will get more exposure on an International platform, earn better money, and will get to stay in the country that he wants to be in.

And what was the WWE supposed to do? People like us complain about the quality of the roster. We complain about how so many new superstars are the same. The new superstars are too inexperienced. So now the WWE hires a guy from a legitamite company who has built his way up from jobber-dom to main event status. He has a unique look, can work, and has a solid fan base. And this is a bad thing?

But I think everyone here is missing something. They now have the Giant Bernard, who was a major success in Japan. They now have Kharma returning, who was also a major star in Japan. They have been trying to get Japanese wrestler Yoshi Tatsu to act more like Japanese legends. They gave Chris Hero, a man who has also built a reputation in Japan, a Japanese ring name. And the WWE have recently booked more shows than usual in Japan.

Surely this cannot all be coincidence?!?!?!

I just thought of something and it's sorta on topic.

Bernard was part of the attitude era correct? And WWE 13 is supposed to be based on it, so maybe we will get him in the game next year.
