WWE.com had posted a list of 10 shocking defections. Here they are.

10. Lex Luger leaves WWE and debuts on the first episode of WCW Monday Night Nitro.
9. Ric Flair once left WCW with the NWA/WCW World Heavyweight Championship and went to WWE.
8. Chris Jericho left WCW for WWE.
7. ECW Heavyweight Champion Mike Awesome left ECW for WCW. Awesome only announced that he was leaving WCW a few days before hand. It was far too late to book the title change for a television show.
6. Hulk Hogan left the AWA for the WWE.
5. Rick Rude appeared on WWE Raw, WCW Monday Night Nitro and ECW Hardcore Television within the same week.
4. Raven left ECW for WCW... and then returned.
3. WWE Women's Champion Alundra Blayze /Madusa left WWE for WCW, and put the title belt in a bin.
2. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash started appearing on WCW shows while people thought that they were still under WWE contracts.
