The WWE Website has posted an article on large wrestlers who have seemingly been forgotten.

Roadblock (6' 10'' - 400lbs)
Roadblock had a short stint in WCW in 1996. Despite his size and power, he was never quite as intimidating as other monsters. He took an early defeat from powerhouse Lex Luger, who managed to lift Roadblock into the Torture Rack submission. Roadblock failed to catch on after this.

"Crusher" Jerry Blackwell (5' 9'' - 470lbs)
Blackwell may have been average height, but he was usually heavier than most of his competition. He would take on the biggest faces in the AWA. He was also known for his toughness. He would sometimes demonstrate this by putting himself through wooden planks and head-butting rail spikes into boards.

Loch Ness (6' 11'' - 679lbs)
Loch Ness is better known as British wrestling legend Giant Haystacks. One of the largest wrestlers in British history. The Englishman was so big that his wife had to make a ring attire for him from an old couch. He is best known for his unforgettable matches with 'Big Daddy' Shirely Crabtree.

He had a forgettable stint in WCW as the Scottish monster Loch Ness (even though he is more Irish than OSR's own The Reverend). He maybe would have some success if he was not lumbered with the rest of the Dungeon of Doom, a stable of the largest enhancement talent around. After a few months, he was demolished by teammate The Giant (aka Big Show).

Nathan Jones (6' 10'' - 300lbs)
Austrailian Tae Kwon Do enthusiast Jones is not the guy that Bananarama used to sing about. He was introduced with a series of heel promos, highlighting his 10 years in Boggo Road prison. But he debuted as a tag team partner for The Undertaker as a face. Jones missed out on teaming with the Deadman to defend his streak against A-Train and Big Show at WrestleMania, but still helped him win. Jones disappeared for several months after an ankle injury.

He would return just before Survivor Series as a rookie Matt Morgan's tag team partner. Both men were introduced by Paul Heyman as members of Team Lesnar. But Jones suddenly quit the WWE during a tour of Austrailia only 2 months later.

Jones would have a small role in the WWE movie 'The Condemned'. He played one of the criminals serving a life-sentence fighting to the death in a gameshow for freedom.

Reese (7' - weight unknown)
Reese was introduced as the main powerhouse in Raven's Flock in WCW. Before this, Reese wrestled as 'Big' Ron Studd, an tribute to his trainer 'Big' John Studd. He was a deadly enforcer within the Flock, but didn't achieve much outside of it.

911 (6' 8'' - 300lbs)
911 was one of the biggest men to have competed in the original ECW. He was originally Sabu's unamed handler, as he was the only person able to control him when Sabu went crazy. He was named 911 when he became the enforcer for the Deadly Alliance. Over time, he would become the enforcer for ECW, attacking people who were deemed boring by fans. Most of his appearances involved him beating down an opponent enough until he could hit them with his devestating chokeslam. He would do considerably more run-ins than matches. He joined WCW for 2 years under different names, but never caught on.

Uncle Elmer (6' 10'' - 430lbs)
Hillbilly Jim kept on introducing new family members who were similar to himself. But the giant looked small in comparrison to his Uncle Elmer. Just like the rest of the Hillbillies, he had a particular love for square dancing. Elmer genuinely married Joyce Stazko on an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event. His biggest highlight was facing Adorable Adrian Adonis at WrestleMania 2.

The Collosal Kongs
The tag team operated in the USWA before being brought into WCW. The masked team of King Kong and Awesome Kong (not to be mistaken by their more famous namesakes) allegedly weighed a total of 1,001 lbs. They did not last long. They were amazingly squashed by Ric Flair and Sting within 3 minutes in one match.

Hail (6' 9'' - 350 lbs)
Hail was a devestating monster who could rival Goldberg. He debuted in WCW's final year, and destroyed opponent's with a jumping piledriver. Opponents often left the ring on strecthers. He was one guy that the WWE wanted when they bought out WCW, but they were unable to reach him to make a deal.

PN News (6' 2'' - 403lbs)
PN News was an overweight rapper. Little did WCW know that this would become commonplace in the music industry. His diving splash finisher even had its own theme song. He was destined for big things, and he knew it. One night, he felt that a match with 'Ravishing' Rick Rude should have went better than it did. He complained to Rude, and Rude knocked out the upstart with a single slap. This killed News' reputation.

The 'Trainer' character from Acclaim video games 'WWF Attitude', 'ECW Hardcore Revolution' and 'ECW Anarchy Rulz' was loosely based on PN News.

I dunno if he counts as a big man because he's only 6'7, but I thought Lance Hoyt (Vance Archer in WWE) was pretty decent. Had a good moonsault as well.

I would say that he qualifies. He was pretty good. It's just a shame that his Lance Rock gimmick pretty much wrecked his career.

I always liked Lance Hoyt.

I'm glad Roadblock got a little bit of spotlight, always remembered him from Nitro.
