The WWE website has posted an article on people who have never been WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion that may eventually win the titles. Here is the list below, and their actual chances of winning the big prize.

Goldust

Almost impossible. As good, and popular, as Goldust current is, he is still 44 years old. With the WWE keen on making younger stars, it is not likely that they will promote someone so old. Also, the WWE are not keen on making people over a certain age work too many matches. Goldust is not too old yet, but it only gives him a few more years. The WWE will not give the title to him unless they believe that he will be around for a long time. In honesty, the WWE may not keep him beyond WrestleMania XXX. Expect his final WWE match to be within the next year.

Cody Rhodes

Quite good. The WWE had plans on Cody winning the WWE Championship someday during his rookie year. Cody has just about every single skill that the WWE is looking for, including having a WWE Superstar, Diva and Hall Of Famer in his family. The only thing working against Cody is his size. Even though he has a good body, he is still rather small compared to most bodybuilders. He will become champion someday, but he will not be booked strong.

Ryback

Very unlikely. Ryback has the size and intensity that the WWE loves. But he does not have a good physique, and he is rubbish with promos. His strength is over-rated as he sometimes has trouble lifting people lighter than himself. He is also someone that management has noticed getting worse in the ring.

Bray Wyatt

To hard to call. Ryback has everything he needs to make it big, except a good physique. This, and his lack of height, may keep the major titles away from his waist. If repackaged, Luke Harper stands a much better chance. However, with the current crop of NXT stars looking to get onto the main roster, Wyatt could still rule over them. He is injury prone, so if he can avoid picking up too many injuries, he could rise to the top.

Antonio Cesaro

Almost guaranteed. There is only one thing stopping him from winning a major title; he is from Europe. He is a great in ring performer who continues to improve and regularly steals the show. He has the physique and size that WWE loves as well as a good-looking face. And he works through injuries. On top of this, he has decent microphones skills, and can promote the WWE overseas. If he does not win the title, it will be because of bad booking.

Roman Reigns

Very High. Management are so enamored with this guy that it borderlines on sexual. He may not be that good in the ring, but he has shown improvement. He has rubbish microphones skills, but he may get by without them. And he is stronger than he looks, having once powerbombed Big Show unaided. And constant endorsement from the Rock works in his favour. He is visibly Samoan, and with the WWE looking to push a non-Caucasian powerhouse, they are definitely looking at Reigns. If he can avoid knee or shoulder injuries, the WWE will keep pushing him until he can't go anymore.

Big E Langston

Likely. He won't be a great champion, but he could still win it. His handicap is that most of his matches have been against small opponents. It is easy to be physically dominating when your opponent is much smaller than you. But Langston is deceptively short. The average wrestler towers above Langston. Unless he learns to manhandle the heaviest opponents, he may not be taken seriously when he starts facing taller competition. But Langston is also quite young. He stands to have a very long career in the WWE, and has a shot of picking up a title during that time.
