To help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the WWE Championship, the WWE has been posting a bunch of lists.
This time, it claims to have put together a list of the top 50 title matches. As you may have guessed, John Cena does feature in this a little bit too often. The majority of the list states times when titles changes hands. But there are some surprises. For one thing, the list was presented with photos from WrestleMania 25, which had Edge (c) vs John Cena vs Big Show. This match does not appear anywhere on the list.
50. Bret Hart (c) vs Shawn Michaels; Survivor Series, 1997 - The Montreal Screw-job.
49. Falls Count Anywhere: The Miz (c) vs John Morrison; Raw, 4th January, 2011 - Morrison's last WWE match.
48. Steve Austin (c) vs Dude Love; Over The Edge, 1998 - Mr. McMahon served as the special guest referee. Austin forced the unconcious McMahon to count the pin.
47. Billy Graham (c) vs Bob Backlund; 20th February, 1978.
46. "I Quit!" Match: John Cena (c) vs Batista; Over The Limit, 2010 - Batista's final WWE match.
