WWE.com: WMXXX main-eventers in OVW.

The WWE website has posted a rather boring article about WrestleMania XXX main-eventers from when they were in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW).

For those of you who aren't aware, OVW was once the training facility used by the WWE to prepare new Superstars for their WWE careers. It was later replaced with Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and then NXT. It was very briefly used by TNA recently, but they recently ended their partnership as a cost-cutting measure.

All of the men below would become WWE Champions, Royal Rumble winners and WrestleMania main eventers. All of them are scheduled for big roles at WM XXXX.

"Leviathan" was considered quite old when he signed with WWE. Batista signed a short-term contract several months ago, locking in a return for WM XXX.

The most famous 'Paul Heyman Guy' was recruited to the WWE by Heyman, and then brought onto the main roster at Heyman's recommendation. While in OVW, Lesnar used the Shooting Star Press as his main finisher. Lesnar left the WWE after only 2 years, and Paul Heyman went on to be his manager in real life.

"The Prototype" had a bad start to his WWE run when he became the face of the "Ruthless Aggression" era. He was a babyface trying to carry a heel gimmick.

Orton debuted on the main roster at the exact same time as John Cena. A shoulder injury soon after his debut has left his shoulder restricted ever since.

I really think it should be Daniel Bryan. Kurt Angle is the only person to have put Undertakerin a precarious situation where t. They should have him lock in the crossface at Wrestlemania.

The streak should never end period. Each year the match that undertaker must be in should give me the feeling that the streak will end and so far only 2 matches happend at mania where i thought the streak will end 25 hbk vs taker and 27 triple h vs taker and warrior is right angle prob had the best match with the deadman i would love to see another taker vs kurt angle match no way 2006 great main event jus fucking epic.

I agree. The Streak has become too big for ANYBODY to claim. There will never be anyone who deserves the honor more than Kane, and even he shouldn't do it.

However, the right opponent could make it big simply by taking a loss to the Undertaker. Seriously, think of all the guys that did go over, despite being WWE Champion before facing Undertaker at WrestleMania. Kevin 'Diesel' Nash, Randy Orton, Batista, 'Sycho' Sid Vicious, Edge and even Triple H all reached an even-higher level after challenging the streak.

With that being said, Christian and John Cena would be two people that I personally would like to see go for it.

Warrior: I looked for the article, but couldn't find it. Nadimmania posted it on here in July. I recall seeing it on other sites, but they tend to delete articles after a set period of time, or number of new articles have been posted. I did see another story where Batista claimed that it wasn't true, in the same way that Jericho and Van Dam said it wasn't true after the ink was dry.
