Here is a look at the non-wrestling celebrities who have been inducted in the WWE Hall Of Fame, and what they did to qualify.
Bob Uecker
Who is he?: "Mr. Baseball" Bob Uecker had a below-average career in the Major Baseball League. When he retired, he then made a successful career a sports commentator. His charismatic style also helped him into a career as a television actor, playing characters which have become cult favourites.
What did he do?: Uecker was the special guest ring announcer for the Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant match at WrestleMania III. He also interviewed Andre at WrestleMania IV, and then got throttled by the Giant.
Donald Trump
Who is he?: A multi-billionaire business mogul with enterprises in many countries. Has invested in almost everything from hotels to the Miss USA pageants. He is also friends with Vince McMahon.
What did he do?: The Trump Plaza, which is owned by Trump, hosted WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V. Trump has also been at ring side for a large number of WWE shows and pay-per-views in the greater Las Vegas area. He made a few appearances on episodes of Raw, including one in which he dropped actual money onto the live crowd. Trump sponsored ECW Champion Bobby Lashley in a match against Umaga. Both Trump and Vince McMahon agreed to have their heads shaved depending on the outcome of that match. He became the "owner" of RAW for one night after buying the programme from McMahon. He refunded the ticket price to everyone who attended, and removed all commercial breaks.
Drew Carey
Who is he?:A veteran comedian who has a long history of hosting game shows.
What did he do?: He was the #5 entrant in the 2001 Royal Rumble. He eliminated himself after only 2 minutes in the ring. He failed to make any offensive move towards any opponents.
Mike Tyson
Who is he?: A multiple time heavyweight champion and Olympic Gold Medalist in boxing. Is also well known for his chaotic personal life.
What did he do?: He was involved with a feud with Steve Austin leading into the main event of WrestleMania XIV. Was a member of D-Generation X. Served as the special guest referee for the WM XIV main event. Was the guest host of Raw for one night.
Pete Rose
Who is he?: A baseball legend.
What did he do?: He cut a heel promo before being attacked by Kane at WrestleMania XIV. He then attacked Kane at WrestleMania XV and WrestleMania 2000, but got beaten down. Was the guest host of Raw for one night.
William Perry
Who is he?: An NFL Football player.
What did he do?: He competed in a battle royal at WrestleMania 2.
