WWE Promoting TNA Stars.

The WWE has a habit of ignoring or down-playing the successes of wrestlers who work for TNA Wrestling. But recently, WWE.com has been supportive of 4 alumni who are currently under contract with their rivals.

The most obvious example is Ric Flair, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time this year.

The WWE has also started highlighting more and more of Hulk Hogan's past with WWE and WCW on their website.

Recently, WWE.com added Sting to their alumni section. It is a well known fact that Sting has never had a WWE contract and has yet to appear in any WWE show (excluding archive footage). Also, WWE have been highlighting more and more of his non-WCW matches.

And this month, WWE Video is putting a special focus on Rob Van Dam, highlighting his role in the WWE and ECW.

It is not likely that WWE are trying to entice any of these stars away from TNA. There was speculation earlier this year that Rob Van Dam and Ric Flair would re-sign with WWE once their current TNA contracts had expired. But both men still have several months left on their contracts. The WWE have not extended any kind of offer to Hulk Hogan or Sting.

However, the feeling is that all four men are no longer interested in working a lot of dates, as is demonstrated by the 'Maximum Number of Appearances' stipulations in each of their TNA contracts. And each man has enough star power and political stroke to demand a huge pay-day for a very light workload. The WWE are not keen on offering any more contracts like this after recently offering such deals to The Rock and Brock Lesnar.
