- As previously reported, Christian will be appearing at Slammiversary. It has now be confirmed that he will have an on-camera role.
As part of the deal for allowing Ric Flair (who was under TNA contract at the time) to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, WWE agreed to allow one currently WWE contracted superstar to appear on a future TNA DVDs and a pay-per-view. It has now been confirmed that Christian was the superstar associated with this deal.
Christian will also be doing a sit-down interview with TNA. Footage of this will be included in multiple TNA DVDs which will be going into production soon. There are no details on what these DVDs will be.
There is no indication right now as to what Christian's role at Slammiversary will be. He is not expected to be at any other TNA event this year, so he will not be on any forthcoming episodes of Impact, or involved with any lasting storylines. And he is not expected to take part in Crimson's open challenge.
- Chris Masters is expected to be at Slammiversary. He recently had a dark match which was very well-received by fans and other wrestlers. But he has not been offered a TNA contract yet. He is expected to be the person to accept Crimson's open challenge, and he has even indicated this on Twitter. But his appearance is not confirmed.
Masters recently competed in Ring Ka King as American Adonis, being a main-eventer for the company.
- After Crimson made reference to Goldberg on this week's impact, fans have speculated that Goldberg will be answering the Crimson's open challenge. When asked outright would he be at Slammiversary, Goldberg responded, "Hell No!".
