It was only a matter of time before I completed the set of WWE Title Trivias. And this installment looks at the WWE Tag Team Championship.

The current WWE Tag Team Championship only debuted in October 2002. The original versions of the titles had been renamed the World Tag Team Championship a few weeks earlier. This meant that the WWE and WWE Tag Team Championships were exclusive to the SmackDown brand, with the World Heavyweight and World Tag Team Championships were exclusive to Raw.

Both titles were unified in April 2010, but continued the newer titles' lineage. For about a year, the title was dubbed the Unified Tag Team Championship, and the champions carried both sets of belts. They were rebranded back to the original name with the introduction of a singular belt design.

Title Trivia:

A total of 59 men have held the title so far. This is 39 tag teams.

The single longest title reign is 331 days by Brian Kendrick & Paul London. This is also the record for most total time spent as champion(s).

Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero and John Morrison have all held the title 4 times. In fact, Mysterio and Guerrero share a title reign.

All 4 Rey Mysterio's title reigns have been with different partners.

MNM and Slater/Gabriel are the team who have won the titles the most, claiming the belts 3 times each.

Chris Jericho is counted as having won the title twice, although there is no gap in between his title runs. His first co-champion, Edge, became the only person to forfeit the title. Jericho would give Edge's title to Big Show to continue the title reign. Incidentally, Big Show would become the only person to be awarded the title.

The lightest tag team champions were Brian Kendrick & Paul London. The second lightest were Billy Kidman & Paul London.

All three of the heaviest tag team champions featured Big Show, starting with Big Show & Kane.

Primo Colon has held the titles with his brother (Carlito) and his cousin (Epico).

Three different tag teams have carried the titles as part of the Nexus stable.

MVP was also United States Champion throughout the duration of his title reign.

John Cena may have held the title twice, but he has only spent 1 day as champion.

Amazingly, there has always been 2 title holders. At no point was one man holding the titles on his own. Or have the titles been defended under Freebird Rule (where more than 2 people were recognized as co-champions at the same time).
