I am here again, with a major review of the first title of a major series- Assassin's Creed!

I'll mainly talk about the good and the bad...rate the overall stuff and we'll be done.

So lets begin with the plot:
Desmond Miles may seem like an ordinary man, but he has a rich past of ancestors living in some of the key periods of our world's history. We explore the period of the Third Crusade. He is kidnapped and brought to Abstergo Laboratories (In game ...Illu's). Initially brought as a test subject (Subject 17, hence) , he is told by the real world antagonist - Warren Vidic to relive the memories of his ancestor Altair Ibn La Ahad who lived in the holy land of Masyaf. At first you'll go through the tutorials . Desmond will have a hard time adjusting to this device called The Animus which is capable of tracking human DNA to ages and generations.
Altair Ibn La Ahad is an Assassin from the kingdom of Masyaf. Who along with his other assassins in the brotherhood, is under the Grandmaster - Rashid ad-Din Sinan or Al Mualim . Altair, Malik and Kadar are sent on a mission to find the Pieces Of Eden in the Solomon's temple, but they are stopped by the secondary antagonist- Robert De Sable. Altair then breaks all 3 Creeds of the Assassins and is ultimately demoted by Al Mualim to re-gain the rank of an assassin from the beginning.
The three Creeds he broke were:
1. Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent
2. Hide in Plain Sight
3. Never compromise the Brotherhood
After testing out all your training in a small war against the templars, you learn how to use the leap of faith and synchronize !
After a lot of cutscenes , questions, answers and information about the Pieces of Eden between Altair and Al Mualim, he is assigned to kill 9 targets , the Templars who , in their respective places, have donned ill power to the land of their ruling.... This is where things get repetitive. You'll have one set of equipment at first . Then move on to a part of a location. Then interrogate some individuals, synchronizing viewpoints, saving citizens to get vigilantes (who will fight against the guards for you) eavesdrop, pick pocket and beat up harassers to gain information, only then you'll be able to fully synchronize with the memories and sequences.

So the nine targets are as follows :
Tamir
Garnier de Naplouse
Talal
Abu'l Nuqoud
William of Montferrat
Majd Addin
Sibrand
Jubair al Hakim
Robert de Sable

After successful assassinations of these targets, you'll find out that Al Mualim is actually one of the Templars. After battling his former mentor, Altair found out why Al Mualim wanted to use the Apple : *Quote* with its people enslaved by the Apple's power, there would be no war and the populace would be guided by only his own objectives.

Hence, Altair technically gained control of the apple and ushered a new era of the assassins.

Good Things- The Depth of the story (my Review sucks but the story is damn awesome!)
The Conversations between Altair and the other assassins in the assasssin's Beaurau in the said locations (Specially with Malik)
The Memory Corridors in which the said Targets will tell Altair about their actions.

Bad things- Very Repetitive.
No Fast Travel
You literally cannot skip the cutscenes.

Overall - 8/10
