This might seem like an odd request.
But do you think there is any way to rip out the screen filter graphic they're using for the "old-time" matches?

I'd love to take a look at it. I'm assuming it's just some type of grainy overlay?

That isn't strictly 1 texture. It will be a pp shader, using a basic texture to manipulate the screen with. Grainy overlay is incredibly easy to do with HLSL.
