I have a question about how this works. Like I know you can give someone a rating of 1-5 on both offense and defense and on offense it makes sense if you give someone a 1 for legs for example his kicking is going to be extremely weak, but a 5 makes his legs inflict more damage, but how does this work on defense? I really want to know this because I'm using the moveset editor tool to give everyone on my roster exaggerated offensive stats according to their real life abilities, so like Mil Muertes for example will have somewhere around 14 for punching and 13 for grappling and maybe 9 for head, but I don't know if doing this and keeping everyone's defensive ratings at default settings of 1-5 will make the balancing of matches really lopsided?

I believe your character will be less likely to get hurt on the leg (you know when you hurt them on the leg so much they start holding it?) and tap out to submissions focused on that body part, and will take less damage from moves and finishers on that part too (making the pinfall or knockout less likely to happen). Applies to all body parts.

About your other question, it's probably gonna break the balance yes, hell, I've seen some CPU matches were one character gets dominated when the difference is just 1 or 2 points, but it's not guaranteed, in the end the matches depend entirely on the random aspect of the CPU (if we aren't taking Players into account), the stats just help weight in for one of the sides, as far as I know.

Well thanks that helps. Not sure then if I should go with the 1-15 point rating of the moveset tool or stick with the default 1-5? I really don't like the default because there is little variation between a guy that is really strong at 5 and one middle of the pack at 3. I like the sound of one guy being a 13 and the other a 7 a lot better.

I'd say make your "system".

Get the guy with the highest status and lowest status, put it on notepad, excel, whatever you want, from there, try to give other wrestlers stats based on them, according to their positions in real life (main event, midcard, lowcard, etc)

That's what I'm gonna do. I'm trying to do more of an arcade-style game rather than a simulation. I don't want every match to be a marathon technical masterpiece, I want blood on the mat lol. I'll try it with maybe 9 or 10 guys on my roster and if I see that it works I'll do the rest.
