A.J. Styles has injured another opponent with his Styles Clash finisher.

The latest victim is British Wrestler Lionheart. Lionheart had his neck broken by the move at the end of their match last week at a show in Preston, England. As this was the final match on the card, fans were asked to leave the building quickly so that Lionheart could get medical attention.

It was revealed earlier this week that Lionheart had his neck broken. A number of wrestling personalities, including TNA President Dixie Carter, have stated on Twitter that they were praying for Lionheart and his family. Strangely, Styles has not made any comment on the situation.

Roderick Strong was injured in similar circumstance in January this year. Styles made his return to Ring Of Honor in a match against Strong, and tried to finish this match with the Styels Clash finisher. In both incidents, Strong and Lionheart tucked their heads forward during the move. They landed on their heads, injuring their necks. However, Strong's injury was not as severe and Lionheart's injury.

Styles recently said in an interview that the first incident was all Strong's fault. He noted that the Styles Clash results in a facedown bump, and people taking the move should never move their heads forward. This would result in most of the impact being absorbed by the head and neck, and the attacker would be unable to prevent it.

He has injured only two guys with his finisher and it was not AJ's fault. Neither took the finisher correctly and Lion heart on his Twitter account confirmed it was his error of judgement and not positioning his neck in the correct way. Roderick Strong is the other guy he injured. If Homicide can take the Clash threw a table to the outside and come out injury free tells me all I need to know.

I'm not saying Style's botched it. I'm saying two neck injuries in two months means he should probably start utilizing that 450 splash of his.

[/quote]While he was in TNA, Homicide used to do a flip over the top rope, and INTENTIONALLY land spine first on the unprotected guard rail to ensure he rotated fully to land on his feet. There is no safe way to drop back first unto a guard rail from 12 ft in the air.

I am not saying that Styles needs to drop the Styles Clash altogether, but it may be time to stop using it on guys who are not used to taking facedown bumps for a while. He does have the Superman Splash, the Spiral Tap and the Calf Cutter. I don't think fans will be demanding their money back if he chose to finish a match with one of those.

CM hasn't been seen in nearly two months.

In that same amount of time AJ Styles injures two people.

CM has taken control on AJ Style's body via voodoo, and is now using his power to end wrestling dreams around the world.

To be honest, isn't Styles Clash one of the easier bump to take? I can't remember who mentioned about that too in a interview, or maybe I was just dreaming.

I've never seen that move done before, so I looked up how to do that right way, and OUCH! That's kinda hurts. It shouldn't have happened. Yup, AJ needs to change that damn move.

It was A.J. himself who said that.

It is NOT one of the easiest bumps to take. Your natural instinct is to protect your head by putting your hands on the ground, or sheilding your head with your arms. You can't do that because your arms are hooked behind Styles' legs. If done properly, Styles' knees will take the impact so that your face doesn't have to. But your instints will still tell you to protect your head. Sometimes, the reflex tells you to duck, which is NOT something you should do if you are going to land facedown.

The easiest bump to take is the Attitude Adjustment. No, seriously. If you are learning any style of wrestling, martial arts or even gymnastics, you have to learn to take that kind of back bump. The way that Cena performs the throw, he keeps your head and leg hooked. He can ensure that you land properly on your back without hitting your head or trying to put your feet down. Also, it is tricky to get your hands out, so you have no real choice but to trust Cena to ensure that you take the bump safely. And it really does not hurt that much.

I once demonstrated wrestling for teenagers in Poland. The Attitude Adjustment was so safe that I could perform it on them (onto a crash mat), and ensure that they took a safe and pain free impact.

I thought the easiest bump will be the Rock Bottom, to be honest.

If Jeff Hardy can sell it, bah gawd use it. These guys need to focus and remember in the moment that Styles uses this move and not a piledriver. It's really unfortunate, though, that the end result of the move being botched includes falling on your head with a big wrestler dude crashing down on top of you.

Is this a new occurrence?:
<iframe type='text/html' width='250' height='250' src='
' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen=''></iframe>

Not at all. Maybe two occurrences so close together is a coincidence.

Also, easiest bump to take... my vote is the Atomic Drop if that counts. ^o)

I'd vote either Scotty's 2 Hotty Worm/People's Elbow/Any similar signature that is a taunt ending on a elbow drop or something else or Eye Poke as the easiest moves to take. :p

When TKS posted here I thought Styles Crash had injured the 3rd guy in a row (Back on the topic),I was about to say "They need to ban this if no one can take the impact correctly",but there are pics of Lionheart receiving the Styles Clash, instead of having his face in a frontal position he has looking at AJ:

(I couldn't find the one of Lionheart looking at AJ during the Styles Clash, anyway)
