Test of Strength
credits: WldFb, wwefan4life2 (tweaked the animation a bit, fixed distance and added left/right)

- Converted for 4 players and it can be always active
- It replaces the Clinching Slam when used as Strong A Grapple and the unused master move mods (a new method I'm going to explain later) 000C-E (animations: 439A-B, 439C-D).

The ending is assigned to the wrestler with the same method used in VPW2: there is a setting hidden in the moveset that you can use to decide if you want the back body suplex or the wristlock throw. It's important you give everyone the ending. In order to do this you can use my moveset editor which already includes this option or if you need to edit caws or you're using JamStubbs tool you can simply use this code:

8114FF16 xxxx

xxxx:
114E / T.O.S. Northern Lights Suplex
1158 / T.O.S. Wristlock Throw

Enable this code while editing a moveset and save (disable the code after). This will save the setting on the character's moveset.

Now, here's how it works. When the move starts P1 is forced to stay down, after he gets up there are two possible outcomes. If P1 "wins" he will use his test of strength ending. If P2 reverses the grapple he will use his own version (that's why it's important you give everyone an ending in the moveset). This doesn't mean everyone must have the test of strength, just the final part.

I had to cut a few frames at the beginning to avoid hitting the limit (I didn't want to 'link' the move as that wouldn't make it possible for P2 to counter at the end).

F'N Incredible WldFb. Now that is a work of art sir!! Atlast we get the test of strengh in No Mercy.. I love how fluid the actual move hack is. Simply wonderful. Thank you. :B-) :toast: :Osrtrooper

Also I will pin this, as even though it is a move hack, its still a new creation for No Mercy's actually gameplay system IMO. Amazing.

Just want to say that I have tested this out earlier, and think this has to be one of the most amazing hacks I have used. I had a little bit of difficulty understanding the set-up of it all, but I got there...

Im not sure if this is something that would be possible or understood this correct, but I would love to see TOS have a reversal system where you win the TOS but P2 can reverse it with a counter move such as a german suplex??

Sorry WldFb for sounding like a total nOOB but I know nothing about move hacks and can only appreciate this. Amazing work sir!!

Also I have added a code, so you can view the video via on here WldFb.

About your question, I haven't tried yet, but it's possible to use different grapples as reversals, although I think there would be a little distance glitch because the players are not in the exact position to start a front grapple. For a German Suplex you would need a move such as the standing clothesline reversal I used for the Front into Back Grapple code.

I think this has so much potential in a sense of expanding, although this is trully epic as it is, and is a amazing move hack.

Thanks for the reply WldFb. I love this. :B-)

I made a code to add on to this for those who want to use it but don't want to backtrack through all their movesets to have it work:

D015A5D1 0015
81090ffa 01f4
D015A5D1 0015
81091442 01f4
D015A5D1 0015
8109188A 01f4
D015A5D1 0015
81091CD2 01f4
D015A5D1 0015
800ABC19 0037
D015A5D1 0015
800B0929 0037
D015A5D1 0015
800B5639 0037
D015A5D1 0015
800BA349 0037

This simply gives every wrestler the clinching slam as a strong B grapple, and links the move to your front strong B+up grapple. Adding variety to the outcome. An idea killacam came up with. You can change the move link to whatever you want.

I'm an admin. I can make a 7 year bump. Fight me.
