I know how to dump and replace textures. I'm wondering if there's a way to dump them from Revenge/WM and replace NM textures with them.

Do exactly the same. Dump them from those games and replace the textures from No Mercy. It's so easy an idiot can do it.

Yeah, I definitely need to make sure my poly point hacks doesn't mess up other things. I never thought about using pointers as activator before. :p

The thing is that when you restart a match the pointers change....well for WM2000 at least.

Is there a code that makes it possible to edit the in game characters moves and other stuff?

It would be rendered useless as you can't save the changes. The moves will revert back to default after a match. It's not like No Mercy where the movesets are in the same location. The only way to change movesets is with in match moveset hacks.

man that's not fair for people who dont know. if you just dump revenge textures and put it in no mercy it wont line up theres some adjusting and pallet changes to make. between vpw1, revenge, wm2000 and vpw2 sure its easy as pie.

Yep, No Mercy's models are mapped out differently that's why. You need to do a bit of editing to get it to appear correctly.

Hey, could someone please tell me how to edit WM 2000 and Revenge textures so that I can overwrite NM textures with them? I'd like them to look good, and I don't know how to do that by just overwriting them, thanks!

you litterally take the image and move it so the game could read it

And that literally makes the result look like shit. I'm not sure if you can read or not, but I clearly said that I know how to replace textures. When I try to replace NM textures with ones from WM 2000 and Revenge, the result is horrid. By using basic reading comprehension skills, one could infer that, based upon what the above posters said, that it is possible to make the results look good, but some "editing" is needed to "make them appear properly".

So, does anyone know how to make them look "proper"? That's a sweet Space Ghost, too. Really bad ass, it is.

I don't think there's like.. A specific guide or way to do it. For me, it's always been trial and error. Because of the way it's mapped in No Mercy compared to WM2000, you just gotta throw open your image editor of choice and move things around, add bits here and there. Generally, I'll open the wrestler in the CAW section, make a savestate and then reload the savestate everytime I make a save to the texture that way it reloads them. Sometimes you can simple just switch back and fourth between attires and it'll reload the new texture as well.

At least, that's how I've always done it. Gotten decent results for it.
