Asking now to solve this sooner rather than later. Does anyone have or will soon have windows 10 and is it compatible with PJ64? I thought about getting win10 for free as most everyone can but not if I can't play PJ64 on it. The computer I use to play it is old anyway so it's not a big deal to me to not get the update.

Anyone that gets it leave a reply. I'm sure this will not only help me out but lots of others also. :toast:

I mostly use pj64 1.6. But given that one of the best saves ever - Showdown uses PJ64 2.1 tips on how to use either on windows 10 would be useful.

Thanks.

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 and have had no problems with PJ64 2.1. I have not tried 1.6 yet...

Update: 1.6 works fine...

Thanks very much bro, brother, or whatever word you prefer.

I almost forgot to ask - Do I need to run it in a compatibility mode. I have windows 7 so I don't know how windows 8 worked with pj64 1.6 0r 2.1. I thought I read someone say compatibility mode somewhere one time.

I use Windows 8 and I don't run in compatibility mode.

No problems here.

I might try 10 then. I switched from 7 to 8 last year and have never been able to use PJ1.6 again.

Isn't it just a 3 month free trial with some limited features?

You can if you want. i feel not much has changed and it feels more like Windows 8.2 instead of Windows 10, but it is what it is... i have not had any problems out of it other then having to completely reinstall my antivirus cause a dll went missing somehow, but other than that its been good.

No, it's a full complete upgrade to Windows 10 home edition.

For me, Windows 10 has a massive conflict with PJ 2.1, in that I cannot go fullscreen while using the Jabo plugin. It worked fine on 8.1. Others are having BSOD errors with Windows 10 and PJ 2.1 or above. I'd beware.
