I suspected that it was all a part of "Trump-McMahon" business deal.
Donald Trump will give a large amount of money to the WWE (Vince McMahon, To be exact), In exchange for Vince McMahon to give him a televised induction on the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Too bad that we can't see Mick Foley and Bob Backlund induction on the television
