Not going to lie, When I first saw the "Spinner" belt I was like "Wtf is that?!" When I saw this all I could saw is "That is f*ckin' ugly." after seeing it again it wasn't as bad. But its just too little. There should be a little more than what I can do with cardboard and a bedazzler. Let slap a huge f*ckin logo on that beast. I swear this was the conversation the board had...
"Hmmm, we need to get back to our edgy days... Ideas?"
"Let people push the language boundaries?"
"You know what, the Rock has new movies coming out. He can come on and say candy-ass, and boots to asses. And talk trash, it will be ok cause he will smile about it; make it seem cool."
"Uh... ok... How about return the belt back to what it should be?"
"Good idea to help promote the Rock's new movies, he'll win the title and we will let him use that Brahma Bull belt he wanted to use in the early 2000's"
Thank god it wasn't as bad as that concept art of that, and if the side plates are logos that's more work than two screws to replace a name plate. Or.... very few people will use the belt. So we go from gawdy to bland. They should have done what they did with the Intercontinental championship and went back to the 90's model. That was the best "WWE" championship, In my opinion.
