The WWE has announced that Lilian Garcia was struck by a car on Wednesday afternoon.
Their website said that she is in a stable condition in a Los Angeles hospital. She has suffered multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body. Doctors have immobilised her neck and is currently keeping her in hopsital to monitor her.
Garcia is one of many stars to have been in car accidents this year. Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston both had their cars crashed into in separate incidents. John Cena crashed his own car just before WrestleMania. Evan Bourne is still recovering from a shattered foot suffered in yet another car accident. And Dolph Ziggler, Zack Ryder and Justin Roberts were sharing a limousine which got rear-ended during the summer.
We wish Lilian a speedy recovery.
Update: Garcia's condition is worse than reported. While the WWE insists that her injuries are exactly as stated above, she is due to face more serious tests. There is genuine concern for her health at this point. Her husband has stated on Twitter that people close to her are praying earnestly for her recovery.
