Ryder isn't ready for the main event, they need to wait with him and let his growth be steady, not rushed.
I didn't like the Rock for a long time, but he really did turn into a fine wrestler in the end. His match with Jericho at No mercy is still one of my personal favorites of all time, as well as the Triple Threat he had with Angle and Taker. Rocky may not have gone through the indys as much most guys, but considering where his family came from it isn't too surprising.
Rock is sound in the ring, he's no great technician.. but he doesn't need to be. Rock is Hogan with actual wrestling ability. His placement is sound, his timing was for the most part fantastic, and his ability as a stick man is nearly in a class of its own. The Rock is money. He gave nearly 8 years to the WWE, I don't understand why so many people consider him a flash in the pan.
The reaction and excitement surrounding the Rock is proof, that like it or not, he will easily go down in history as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Silly finisher or not. He SHOULD come back for at least one more legitimate run, I think he owes the fans that much since he talks about it enough.
His body hasn't had a lot of the wear and tear the others legends from his time suffered. The Rock is still in fantastic shape, and can (I believe) still give us classic matches.
Hogan - Rock - Cena
Problem is, I honestly don't think Cena has the sheer charisma to get himself on the same tier as those guys. Maybe he'll surprise us all.... maybe he is about to turn into something very interesting to watch. At Piper's Pit it seemed that way, at least. I hope so.
The Rock should face Cena at Wrestlemania, it is good for business, but he should also strongly consider one more run, otherwise he won't be cemented as much as other legends, in my opinion.
