-- The New Japan Pro Wrestling show last night in Rahway, NJ drew 587 fans. NJPW announced in Japan that the show drew a sellout 1800 fans. Really.
-- With that being said, NJPW was happy with the 587 attendance.
-- The company held a Japanese drumming ceremony to welcome everyone to the tour and bless the tour. The drum corp, New Jersey Bi Wa N Ko, featured ten children doing traditional drumming from Nagano, Japan.
-- The company did film the show with their camera crew as they are planning to air some of it on TV in Japan and on DVD.
-- The show was produced like a regular NJPW show down to the smallest details, such as theme music, announcements of how many minutes had passed in the time limit, etc.
-- Many NJPW wrestlers signed autographs for free before the show. Backstage passes were also sold for $50.
-- Several of the talents also did a pre-show meet and greet with VIP ticketholders.

-- Nobody was injured during the show last night.
-- Tiger Hatori, Matt Bennett and Red Shoes Uno were the referees last night. The NJPW East Coast Invasion tour opened with a great video package on the tour.
-- Stephen DeAngelis did the ring announcing for the show.
-- Jay Lethal was backstage at the show visiting. The original hope was to book him for the show but TNA didn't allow it back when he was under contract with them.
-- Steve Mack, Sumie Sakai, ECWA champion Papadon were also backstage visiting.

* IWGP Intercontinental Title Tournament – Semi Final: Toru Yano vs. MVP
* IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title: Prince Devitt vs. Low Ki
* IWGP Heavyweight Title: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Charlie Haas
Tanahashi FTW!!! Should be a great match against Hass. Also marking out for Devitt vs Low Ki. I think thats gonna steal the show.
