The WWE website has posted a list of the top 30 WrestleMania matches of all time. And a Chris Benoit match made the list!
At #27 is the Money In The Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 21. The first MITB match featured Benoit. The article does not mention Benoit, or even Christian or Kane in the related article. All references to Benoit have been kept to a minimum since his death in 2007. So it is very surprising that a Benoit match made this list at all, even if his name was not mentioned. If Benoit had not died in such controversial circumstances, his matches from WrestleMania 2000 and WM XX would have made the list.
One interesting thing about the list is that Shawn Michaels and "Macho Man" Randy Savage have appeared so many times. Amazingly, no matches from the first 2 WrestleManias and WM 2000 have made the list. And Triple H and Hulk Hogan barely featured on the list. The Undertaker also has several appearances, but not that many if you consider he has had 21 matches at the annual event so far.
