<big>(WMC-TV) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol confirms Corey Maclin, Memphis wrestling personality and former local sports anchor, died last night in a car crash.

We're told the one-car rollover crash in Panola County happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

I only watched Memphis wrestling for a year, but I loved this guy. I really thought that he was going to the be in the WWE some day.

Jerry Lawler was asked who he wanted to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. His first choice was an announcer who called many of his earliest Memphis matches. His second choice was Maklin.
