so since the Online school for Rookies thread is slightly dead at the moment i thought i would make up my own topic for my mods and stuff, as always criticisms, tips, help, are welcome and appreciated

some updates on Bad News Barrett he's got a body well....... part of one anyway, i've also noticed I'm a bit faster now since i've started to get the feel for modding no mercy which is good anyway here are some screenshots

looks sweet your bodies are always great, and your faces are good, but a bit too wide and long.
how do you go about aligning a face?

@Tyler, i just use the hi rez template, see i'm used to a larger area because i mod TWC which has much larger textures so i'm a bit out or i could just suck at alining faces lol


@Rain i do plan on finishing it, the reason i didn't was because my dad got sick with diverticulitis(dot worry he's better now) and didn't get much time to mod and truth be told i kinda forgot about it..............



so i knocked these two faces up recently but am going to continue to work on wade Barrett and hopefully have him finished soon

Sorry to hear your dad was unwell but glad to hear he's doing better champion gamer.I love those faces the template is a basic guide best I can say is make your own template from an aki face.Like Kurt angle just go in and remove hair from in game Angle

so i was making some face textures for 2k16 and decided to convert one of them to no mercy i think it looks okay not sure about the hair...... going to try and get back into modding in the near future

Much better sizing/shape I was mixing 2k15 textures and screencaps but this looks good champ.

Looks great! my only suggestion is you might need to shrink the face, no mercy faces are ypically smaller than that, might look too big in game

You've got the right Idea, now you should sort your colors out, it kinda looks too flat, like, lacking depth and "shiny" parts.

But still awesome to see you modding, mang!

this one is the original without the blended colour or lighting also resized the face not sure looks a little narrow now but that could be because i am used to modding larger textures than the no mercy ones

this one has some lighting and colour added to the face

going to test it on a model tomorrow

yeah it was i find there great for front on and expressionless faces(which is kinda the point of mug shots lol)

when i think about i really don't follow through with my mods lol oh well maybe someday i will decide to finish em until that day however you'll just have to be satisfied with this crap rich swann face texture i made because i was bored shitless and needed something to do

was bored again so i did a bit of modding well if you could even call it that....... i haven't tested these on a model in game yet so they will probably look shiter than they do here lol admittedly for some reason I've been in the mood to do some modding who knows i might keep producing shit textures for awhile

bored again so i made another shitty face texture of ryusuke taguchi

don't know might start modding again as I've been bored shitless of late, i suppose it would give me something constructive to do plus i might finally make a worth while NM mod lol

been playing around with textures again because that's what i tend to do, I've been experimenting with different sizes

512x256 for the chest and 256x512 for the face they look pretty good in game.


probably going to be converting or making a new Efed in no mercy, however as the fire pro world one is complete I'll be starting that one up for the time being.

obviously all these textures are works in progress, and will probably never be released
