Greetings and salutations, friends! I hope you find yourselves well in the waking world.

Me.... I am not well. I'm scared, nervous, happy, excited, and paralyzed with self doubt. TNAFAN knows this... but in less than 12 hours I begin my training in pro wrestling.

Now, many are probably saying to themselves, "What an attention seeking liar!" Well, you're wrong. The pictures and videos I'll be posting in this thread will be my proof.

I guess I just wanted to share this with someone, the town I live in doesn't have many pro wrestling fans.... even though it has a school.

Right now I think my name will be Eddie Lewis. If any of you get the reference I love you. :hi

Wish me luck tonight, friends!

Alright..... the first day is over. I hurt so unbelievably much that typing is a bit of a challenge.

No joke, they worked me 'til I puked tonight. Within the first hour I was hugging a trash can puking my eyeballs out. However, I got back up and finished my session, much to the surprise of my trainer. He said I learned to hit the ropes surprisingly fast, and was honestly impressed not by my athleticism, but my quick learning and determination not to quit, even while wiping vomit from my chin.

I learned some really interesting communication tricks, what it means to "go to the office" and a few other things.

As embarrassing as it was to be tossing chunks within the first hour, I'm hold a beam of pride for looking at my trainer in between retches, and telling him I'm not going to quit..... and then I proved myself right.

All in all..... I hurt like a bastard, I'll hurt even more in the morning... and Saturday I go back again. I have reached the conclusion that it is going to be lot harder than anticipated on ALL levels, mentally, physically, and emotionally........ but I've also reached the conclusion that quitting this is not an option.

Pics will hopefully be up in the next week or two... and videos within the month.

I'm going to drink a single beer now. I wish I had more but it is probably a good thing I don't. I'M FUCKING DOING IT!!!! HURRAY ME!!!!

It seems you have a awful time physically but a great time mentally? I can remember watching a wrestling documentary about wannabe wrestlers and some of the things they had to go threw, and again there is no guaranties of succeding in wrestling. Keep going and dont give up, it will be a great experience for you, and am sure you will go threw sum rough times, but it will payoff i hope. Pls post sum pics when you can, as it is interesting. Also, it be so cool if you did a video blog and put it on here, like a diary of your training. :x-mas thumb: :10

Alrighty, my second day of training has finished, and this time I was much more prepared. Not only did I manage NOT to vomit (yay me) but I performed at a level I didn't think I could. Squats didn't hurt as much, the ring and ropes (the ropes hurt like hell, even to bounce off them, do not be fooled) didn't hurt as much!

I nearly injured myself jumping out of the ring through the second and third rope to the outside, something completely necessary to learn at first, when my foot got snagged on the top rope, thankfully, my left hand is a strong bastard, and managed to keep me from hitting head first on the concrete.

I'm having a blast!

Oh I would sign with Chikara cowboy buddy, if you get a opportunity. You could be called "Cowboy Ant" and be part of The Colony. :D

Hehehe, I'm not even thinking about getting signed anywhere, at the moment. I've been focusing mostly on getting in the best physical shape possible. By august I should be on the road, my trainer has contacts in Canada, Mexico, and Japan, plus a ton here in the states.

The possibility of getting on the road alone, even if it is to only make 5 bucks a show, is enough for me. I want to be the best I possibly can be.

I also want my neck to stop hurting.

Oh man, I can imagine you are feeling sore atm, and you have been working hard man. So when are you going for training next?

I would have posted last night, but I was too god damned sore. It was a one on one session, everyone else had called in sick or just didn't show up. A one on one session is usually good and bad, good in the fact that I get to learn more, bad in the way I have to do more physically. By the time we were done I was swearing at Lee at the top of my lungs.

I was practicing bumps just about all night. My back is officially bruised... but not from the mat. From the ropes. No bullshit. The ropes hurt just as much as the ring when you are starting out. I'm told you get used to it, and I believe 'em. For for now.... god damn I hurt.

Hey OSR... beer's on you tonight. :toast:

Dont worry my man, I will be lining up the beers for you all night. Glad to see the training is going well bro, and its shows your commitment being the only guy there yesterday. Those bruises will get better bro, and you will get used to it soon enough. Keep it up bro. :toast: :B-)

Session four: I friggin' rule.

Today was what they call a "potato day", and by that it means you are getting punched and kicked a lot. I guess since your fist slightly resembles a potato when its clenched that's how it got that name..... but I'm not sure.

Now, I know what you're thinking... sounds easy. Giving and taking a bunch of fake punches, right? However, a few of the guys seemed to have problems figuring out how to do it right, and I got "potato-ed" a lot. We had a guy who just couldn't get it... and I'm a nice enough guy to let him practice..... a lot.

I started throwing ideas about my gimmick to the trainers, expressing my desire to be an effective heel. I was told that heels have to take a lot of bumps, more than anyone else... and I willingly threw myself to the wolves. I could see a look of satisfaction in Shamus' eyes (Yes, that's his real name, no relation) when he got to just lay into me... a lot. No joke, there is a ring of bruises on my ass. (If anyone wants proof go frag yourself, I'm not showing my bare ass), And a bruise about the size of a softball near my left shoulder blade area.

I was told multiple times tonight from my trainers that though they wish I was in better shape (which is happening all the time, this week alone I dropped 6 pounds), however, my ability to learn quickly is very nice. Apparently I'm picking things up quicker than even they expected.

And now for the bombshell.....................

Our other trainer Lee will be booking Colt Cabana, Sean Waltman and fucking AUSTIN ARIES in the next six months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL GET TO BE ON THE SAME CARD AS AUSTIN FUCKING ARIES!!!!!!
