Ok i need some opinions
Does anyone think a custom arena based on this upcoming show would make a good one?
New Japan, All Japan, and Pro Wrestling NOAH held a joint press conference today to announce that they will run a charity event at Tokyo Nippon Budokan on August 27th. All three champions – Hiroshi Tanahashi, Takashi Sugiura, and Suwama – attended, along with top brass from the company’s like New Japan’s President Sugabayashi, NOAH’s Akira Taue, and All Japan’s Keiji Muto. If you didn’t already guess, proceeds from the show will go towards helping the earthquake stricken areas and victims of Japan.
This will be the first ever show joint held by the three main companies in Japan, but in 1979 New Japan and All Japan agreed to work together, with the legendary Inoki and Baba tag team. That only lasted for one show, with the two not getting along, intensifying the rivalry between the promotions in the 1980s. But there will be no such animosity in August when New Japan and All Japan, who have been on good terms for years now, unite once more along with the group that formed after a mass walkout from All Japan, NOAH.
No card has been announced yet, but Muto suggested there will be plenty of tag matches to get many wrestlers on the show. It’s possible the champion trio of Tanahashi, Sugiura, and Suwama – if indeed all three still hold their titles then – will team up just like the iconic Inoki and Baba did 32 years ago.
