During the Tribute To The Troops show, AJ Lee has a row with television host Michelle Beadle in front of top WWE figures. There are conflicting versions of what actually happened, but it appears that WWE management has decided to punish Lee over the incident. When Lee spoke to Beadle, Lee became frustrated with her dismissive attitude. They maintain that Lee did not lose her temper or swear at Beadle. Just before this week’s Raw, Punk put a cryptic comment on his Twitter account, implying that it was difficult for him to remain professional when his employers were refusing to do the same.
Numerous websites reported that AJ Lee was supposed to lose the Divas Championship to Natalya at TLC – Tables, Ladders and Chairs as her punishment, but this did not happen as it was never meant to. The WWE had planned for Lee to lose the title to one of the Total Divas, but they kept changing their minds over who it should be and when. At this time, the plan is for her to lose the title to Nikki Bella, but there is no set date for when this will happen.
