colours going transparent on textures

so i got a problem with colours going transparent on textures and I'm fucked if i know what I've done wrong to make this happen but it's persisting on other versions of project 64 as well. so anyone got any ideas what i'm doing wrong ?

I believe this is caused by using full black (rgb 0,0,0), not fully confident though.

That is the case. Some of the default textures like the belts suffer from the same issue.
