For those who missed it, the announce team clarified the rules for the SummerSlam Ring of Fire match on Raw last night, and explained that the match can only be won by pinfall or submission. This differs from the Inferno Match rules in which the match can only be won by setting your opponent on fire.[/quote]

Huge let down.
Don't worry, At least the kids will never witness any horrible thing (Such as Kane's hand getting burned).

Remember, WWE "PG" will never aired the REAL inferno matches that we used to watch at the old time. Even if they did, They will tweak the rules and make the match "More Family-Friendly" than before.

If it was going to be an Inferno Match (Which were not all that great anyway) it would be called that and not a Ring of Fire match. Common sense goes a long way.

If it was such 'common sense' then why was there a need to announce the rules for the match, surely it wasn't common sense else the stipulations wouldn't be need to be announced. There had to be a high percentage of people querying this exact same thing because they do sound incredibly similar.

I'm ok with this. Bray Wyatt has a freaking PPV match, it's still an inferno match, but with pins, so I don't see the difference, and Ring Of Fire sounds cool. Guess some people are never satisfied.

Exactly. The first inferno match would have been cooler with a Tombstone and a 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring instead of Kane's arm being lit aflame when he slipped or whatever. It was pretty anti-climatic.
