This is a photo from a recent Raw event:

According to Jericho's book:

Quote:

After his father murdered his step-brother and step-mother, Jericho called David to see how he was doing. Apparently, the kid was just really concerned about whether or not he could still come to the shows, and that made Jericho sort of realize how different David's life was going to be from now on.
Apparently, David is obsessed with wrestling and loves the business.

Props to Jericho for taking care of his friend's son and making him feel welcome. That is all.
If he ever become a WWE wrestler I think WWE will stop the censoring.

If he does, I don't think he'll be allowed to use his real last name.

He sould use a choke-hold as a finisher ^o)

Joke apart, it's a nice move from Jericho. Even if i joke about it i really like the wrestler Benoit was and the censoring is stupid, the WWE should respect the wrestler he was, i understand that they don't want to have their name associated to a double murder suicide but it would be like if you are facing a danger and put your hands on you eyes thinking the danger would disappear. They can try all they want to make forget they had Benoit on their roster, people will always know he was and i think if they used his matches, interviews, promos on some DVDs people would see it as a tribute to the performer and not as a respect for the murederer.
Sadly for his son, i don't think the WWE would hire him if he wanted it just because he is his father's son.

He's not Benoit's step-son, he's his actual son. Benoit had two surviving children.

He really does resemble is father's looks.

I applaud Y2J for taking David under is wing and supporting him. I agree with CBV, if he ever made it in WWE I highly doubt we would see any reference to Chris or his surname. Its sad, but understandable.

If no-one pointed out that he was a Benoit, I would never have noticed the resemblance.

And I agree with CBV. If he does wrestle, he can't use his surname. Bray Wyatt, Curtis Axel, Roman Reigns and the Usos couldn't either.
