Yeah, Del Rio's character is supposed to be rich and serious (as serious as wrestling character can get, that is).

With people like Santino, Zack Ryder in it, nah. Won't make sense to have him in it. Besides, if Del Rio is in, I'm pretty sure it will demote him to midcard status after his recent run as a main eventer. WWE needs a legit main event heel, so yeah.

Team Johnny (Captain David Otunga, Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz and Mark Henry) versus Team Teddy (Captain Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, Booker T, R-Truth and [I can't remember who]).

Also allowed at ringside are: John Laurinitus, Theodore Long, Hornswoggle, Vickie Guerrero, Aksana and the Bella Twins.

I'm still waiting for Mick Foley to be announced as the special guest referee.

Oh yeeeeeeah. I forgot there's Booker T. Hmmm. At least Team Teddy has some credibility, Del Rio could work in this case.

Oh and the last person you can't remember is The Great Khali.

Nope, he was in the ring when Teddy recruited Booker T after Booker saved Teddy. I think you're thinking of McIntyre replacing Christian

I don't like the way that the WWE are desperately shoving as many black guys as possible into this match.

It doesn't matter how good any of these guys are, or when the match is shown. At the end of the day, this will be a gimmick match. And most of the black wrestlers on the roster have been shoved into a gimmick match.

Henry is not exactly a great talent, but he made himself look like a credible monster for most of 2011. And he held the World title from September to December. Kingston, R-Truth and Otunga are fantastic talents who deserve better.

And why did they bring Booker T into the match at all? When this man finally walks away from professional wrestling, he will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time. No African-American has had the success that he has had. I understand giving him his WrestleMania moment, but he deserves better than an overcrowded gimmick match. His inclusion was horribly rushed. All 5 of those men deserve a lot better.

Actually, I think this match serves to elevate Otunga, imagine without this match, there isn't anything going on for him. Who knows, he might be going for the US title soon?

Kingston is lost in the shuffle because of Evan Bourne's wellness policy violation, so I think what the creative team wanted is to keep him in the minds of the fans. Though he's getting stale in my opinion.

R-Truth is being paired with Kofi, for reasons I don't know why. But it could serve to continue the feud with Miz, since Miz is in Team Johnny.

Mark Henry can't really work a full long match now, so I guess that is why he is in this match instead. Besides, he's really lost in the shuffle. If they were to remove him in a WM match, it kinda shows that a former World Champion "couldn't make it" to the biggest PPV of all time. Which kinda tells the fans that he's lost his touch since he was a dominating champion, and now he can't even get on the mid card of WM. Not really good for development of his character. Having Team Johnny recruiting him kinda changes that point of view.


As for Khali, I guess they are catering to the India crowd. If you have watched Ring Ka King, you know how big wrestling is over there.
