I recently tried Shnsuke Nakamura and everone seemed to like it so i decided ill start this new project

NJPW vs WWE: Night of Champions.

Just using this thread to discuss the roster for now and what people would want in hack like this before i make any announcment of the project with fanfare.

The project idea is if for one night WWE fought NJPW.
So its intended to be 16 wwe wrestlers and 16 njpw max.

I do like what you've done so far, looks nice. I want to see more. This definitely won't be Allstars 2 with the proposed roster though.

Thanks I know its not much to go on, i just wanted to make Ishii as a test to see if its worth to keep going on.

Please post a proposed all stars 2 roster list.

I think a good idea would be to do like an open world tour G1 Climax Save.
where each promotion can only enter 8 wrestlers. So NJPW, WWE, Lucha and others only get 8 wrestler slots. this way its a best of type mod.

but there would be a lot of wrestlers left out that people would want.

I like that G1 idea a lot.

I don't know about the rest, but as far as Lucha goes from CMLL I would suggest these 8 just off the top of my head:

Dragon Lee, Titan, Caristico, Soberano, Volador Jr, Rush, Mistico, and El Valiente.

Maybe a possible way to avoid some possibly popular wrestlers being left out due to the 8 guys limitations would be to have each promotion coming in 2 parts like Aki usually did : NJPW1 NJPW2 WWE1 WWE2 LU1 LU2 etc...

I would love to see a Modern-Day Save. Modern-Day implying the stars and main eventers that we see today. Nobody has done that as far as I seen in VPW2 where there is NJPW today and other promotions.

To be fair, nobody has done much with VPW2 besides put the guys from WM2K and Revenge into VPW2. It would be awesome to see modern day guys from all promotions in this game.

Can you post the top 16 njpw wrestlers todayj? would there be any wrestlers left out where it would be not worth doing 16 slots only. note tag teams can take one slot but they have to be worth it.

So 16 slots for, NJPW, WWE, CMLL/AAA(With lucha underground) and legacy promotions like WCW/nWo, WWF Attitude and ECW. And because we are using VPW2 we can keep wrestlers like hayabusa but maybe not the stable they were in maybe add them in as legends. but if NJPW and AJPW 90s is important to keep id like to trade it out for ecw. i think thete should be a balance for current vs legacy promotions.

For the junior heavyweight you have the Best of the Super Juniors , and for the heavyweight you have the G1 Climax

In my opinion the top guys signed with NJPW (in this year BOSJ there were a few wrestlers that aren't signed with NJPW like Dragon Lee , Volador Jr) are

for the junior heavyweight :
Will Ospreay (Ospreay is also signed at ROH in the same time)
Kushida
Hiromu Takahashi
Ricochet
Jushin Thunder Liger (but that's because he's one of my favorite wrestler ever
)

For the heavyweight

Zack Sabre Jr. (he is also signed with Evolve and PGW at the same time)
