What is the point of having Twitter if you can't go on rants or bury people you once worked with?
The latest person to lose his head on the social networking site is TNA Referee Earl Hebner.
In a recent interview, Hebner claimed that he, his brother Dave and his son Brian were all fired from the WWE because John Laurinaitis had a personal grudge against Dave. Laurinaitis told Vince McMahon that Dave had been using the t-shirt business he co-owns with Earl to sell unlicensed WWE merchandise. A claim which Earl strongly denies. Earl also claimed that his biggest selling t-shirt is one that reads "I screwed Bret", a reference to the Montrel Screwjob. He commented that many people bought the shirt just to "wipe their asses with it", but he didn't mind as he was making money from it.
Fans had responded to Hebner's comments via Twitter. Each of these are replies to specific people, but they were posted as regular tweets.

In 1997, Vince McMahon offered Bret Hart a multi-million dollar contract to stay with the WWE for 14 years. But after only 7 months, McMahon wanted to end the contract, and pressured Hart into signing with WCW.
Hart reluctantly agreed. But McMahon also wanted Hart to lose the WWF Heavyweight Championship to Shawn Michaels at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in Montreal. Hart was against the idea. Hart and Michaels had been friends until Michaels made an on-air comment suggesting that Hart was having an affair with WWE Diva Sunny. The "joke" caused a lot of friction within Hart's family, particularly between Hart and his wife.
Hart agreed to lose the title to Michaels OR lose the title in Montreal, just as long as he did not have to do both. Hart accidentally taped McMahon agreeing that Hart would not have to lose clean to Michaels. The match would end in a no contest, and Hart would be stripped off the title, and the belt awarded to Michaels. Hart told referee Earl Hebner that he was worried about being cheated, and Hebner promised it would not happen.
During the planned finish, Hart accidentally knocked down Michaels and Hebner. Michaels would put Hart in the sharpshooter, and waited for Hart to counter it. But Hebner intentionally rose to his feet too soon, and saw Hart in the hold. McMahon called for the bell to be rung, and insisted that Bret submitted when he hadn't. Hart would start breaking TV equipment and told fans to watch WCW instead. Backstage, several of Hart's associates quit the WWE. Hart punched McMahon. McMahon would claim on Raw the next day that Hart brought this on himself.
Hart later admitted that he did have an affair with Sunny. He also made piece with McMahon and Michaels, but not with Hebner. To this day, Canadian fans still heckle Hebner for his involvement with the event.
