To me, the Fantastic Four have never been relatable as a unit.

The Thing is an outsider, Human Torch is a hotshot playboy, but I have no idea why I should care about an uncharismatic version of Iron Man and Invisible Woman.

The Fantastic Four were actually some of my favorites growing up, since they were a family that seemed to go through a lot of the little things regular people do. That's what makes the FF great, in my opinion. Anyone not too familiar with the Fantastic Four should read some of John Byrn's run on the book, it's really great stuff.
