I believe Mouriniho will be going back to Chelsea. His heart has always been there and is loved by the fans.

Sir Alex Ferguson will step down as Manchester United manager at the end of the season after 26 years in charge.

The Scot, 71, has won 38 trophies during his reign at Old Trafford and will now become a director and ambassador for the club.

His haul includes 13 league titles, two Champions League crowns, five FA Cups and four League Cups.

"The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about. It is the right time," Ferguson said.

Everton's David Moyes and Jose Mourinho, currently at Real Madrid, are the bookmakers' frontrunners to take over.[/quote]

This certainly is the end of an era. Fergie is a legend, 27 years in one clube is huge, especially if it's ManUtd.

I want Manchester to be led by someone who isn't afraid to take risks! Someone who won't leave after a couple of seasons, someone loyal.

Speaking of managers, what do you guys think Guardiola will bring to Bayern??

I remember reading a article in the paper last year when Sir Alex said once he eclipsed Liverpools total league titles he would retire as manager of Man Utd. Man City obviously won the title last year, so his ambition this year was to finish on a high and get the big 20. Simply put, he is the greatest man manager and bring youth and making them stars....EVER!

This is sad news, but seriously he is 67 and he has done it all and given the club so much success that will never be replaced. It will be strange, but they will still be successful and he is still going to be a part of the club anyway.

Next season will be a huge test for the club and I feel David Moyes is the perfect mould to continue the success of the club and has the same mentality as Sir Alex.

I don't think Moyes is good enough to lead United, but we'll see.

Moyes is in a very similar mould to Ferguson. I think he will do a solid job. The only thing I see a problem is his ability to manage the ego's in the dressing room. Guys like Ferdinand, Vidic, RVP etc.

Also, good luck to my local team Watford tonight. They are playing Leicester in the Championship semi-final playoffs.

Good luck to them!!

About Moyes, he does a good job leading Everton this season, but he does not have a great record against domestic clubs, and that is the biggest problem.

Fully deserved I may add. Wigan were great.

Mancini stated in the post match interview that he will be at Man City next season, but I doubt it. The owners did not look happy in the stands lol.

Legend. Even though I am not a Man UTD supporter, you can only but appreciate what he has done for the game and delivered trophy upon trophy. Enjoy your retirement Sir Alex.

Fergie was a legend, he was amazing! Maybe the best coach of all time!?

BTW I need to comment some of those transfer speculations you posted:

Draxler to Arsenal??? It would give Draxler the exposure he needs, it would certainly be a good transfer because Arsenal needs a player like that.

Lovren is linked with all those clubs? Seriously? My fellow Croat didn't really prove himself this season in France and I don't think all those clubs are interested in him. But he is a good player, and may end up in a club that plays the Champions League :)

About Falcao, he is NOT going to Munich. Falcao is going to Monaco this summer. If Bayern buys a striker, it will be Lewandowski or maaaaaybe, just maaaybe Rooney. Gomez will leave 99%, so they need a new guy that's going to be a competition to Mandžukić.

Reina to Barca...... I don't see that happening, but it really could. The real question is where will Valdes go if he leaves.

Chelsea and Benfica will square off in what should be a very intresting Europe League final match.

Who do you think will capture the second greatest european cup, will it be England's Chelsea or Portugal's Benfica?

If you won't be watching the match tonight i'll make sure to cover the goals for you guys even though none of you said thanks, its okay.

Personally i think Chelsea will take the cup, they've been great so far this season!

Congrats to Chelsea who won tonight. Rafa rules is all I can say. He has guided to champions league qualification and won the Europa League. Not bad heh! Chelsea have had a successful season and winning two major European trophies in two years is seriously something amazing.
