I stayed up to watch this and was not let down at all. Though I have Italian in my bloody, there were times in the game I was rooting for Japan. Hendo is a fucking great player for them. It was easily one of the most back and forth games I have seen in a long time and was easily football match of the year. Brilliant.

Honestly, Tahiti are pretty much filled with amateurs, but they did themselves proud against Nigeria. I know Spain will annihilate them, but I dont think it will be 13/14 - 0 scoreline.

Spain defeated Tahiti 10-0,Torres scored the 4 first goals followed by 3 from Villa,2 from Silva and 1 from Mata.

Did you know that Tahiti's squad consists of 5 players from one family,3 are unemployed,2 work in a factory and their goalkeeper works as a bus driver? yea now you know.

Tahiti are great. They are such a humble football nation and they must feel like they are dreaming playing against the greats of world football. They have really been something special to the tournament.

Oh, Uruguay are currently 1-0 up against Nigeria. Lugano was the scorer.

So glad Uruguay won. It now makes the group interesting. I am sure Uruguay will beat Tahiti and Spain will beat Nigeria, so it looks like Uruguay and Spain will qualify to the semis.

Yeah Brazil were pretty good against Italy. However, I still think Spain are the favourites to win the competition. Italy were poor defensively, and looked a shadow of themselves.
