Freezing issue?

Hi, so everything is working properly (except I have to turn off the war games cheat for a royal rumble to work) but I've done 6 matches in a row where the game just freezes on me. All different points in time (7 minutes in, 22 minutes in, 18 minutes in)

My question is, is there something I'm missing? I mean my laptop isn't the greatest so maybe it's that? It says it's running about 43-44 fps. A 2010 gateway running windows 7, ... But like every few minutes you'll see a hiccup in the action it'll freeze for maybe 2 seconds but then continue. So eventually one of these freezes doesn't continue and it just stays frozen. I've got all cheats marked on showdown 64 I've even erased and reinstalled before. Any help appreciated thank you.

Sorry it took so long. ..... so here are 7 screenshots of settings ..... any help is appreciated from anyone

I moved the save correctly ... updated .cht file ... I patched the rom correctly and put the hires_textures in correct folder .....

the only thing I had trouble with was it gave me an error one time and said something about the file name was too long for the destination when moving the textures over but it hasn't given me any issues as far as textures are concerned


worth noting two things in case this could case a problem? ....

1. I cannot figure out the war games hack where the 4 teams are in a cage I only get team battle 4 teams 2 players each team regular ring no cage

2. if the war games match hack is checked under the showdown64 cheats then royal rumble doesn't work ... it will start the match with 3 wrestlers and a generic guy and then everyone does a taunt and the match ends


the only other issue like I said is every single match I have watched or simmed has frozen on me at various points in the match

it has a stutter like I said before every IDK maybe 2 minutes but it catches itself and the match continues but at some point eventually it doesnt resume from the stutter and just freezes completely.
