I thought we need a general music discussion thread, So what kind of music do you like what are some of your favorite bands, what are some of the songs you have been listening to etc.............



so to start off i'm super pumped for the new agnostic front album, the new song police Violence sounds epic my only complaint is it should have been longer............

as for the music I like, I'm into punk/hardcore/sXe and metal all types and of course rock and grunge, don't really like rap although when I was thirteen I did go through a stage where I was really into Eminem, and I will give him something he's not horrible and has some talent buried deep deep deep within him, also ever since I played fallout 3 and NV I've enjoyed, big band music if you listen to something for over 50 hrs it's going to get stuck in your head lol


as for my favorite bands, BLINK 182, green day, foo fighters, nirvana , linkin park, the offspring, bad religion, seether, korn, slipknot, mudvayne, slayer and many many more

Well.
My current favorite song is "Let me be your lover" by Enrique Iglesias

As for the music i like :
i like Pop and Rock but,i hate rap too..Although,most of the people here in my city loves Rap because of some Rap singers who sing a political songs about the country's problems and violence and Injustice...etc

Anyway..i will pick out some of my favorite songs..most of them are 90's ,i was listening to them when i was a kid...here is the list :

since Matt Skiba is going to be playing guitar and doing vocals for blink 182 for the foreseeable future, i've been checking out alkaline trio, not that i hadn't heard of them before, they just where not on my radar, from what i've heard i like em quite a bit

yeah i know it's a bump but this thread is hopefully something the admins don't mind me bumping.........

anyway this is kinda old news but i thought i would talk about it, so soundwave has been canceled now for those of you who dont know what soundwave is it's a little bit like the warped tour mixed with the monster music festival, it featured both punk metal and alternative acts and was Australia biggest metal festival, now the sad truth is Australia has no big ticket summer music fests(for now), as a few years ago the big day out went the way of the dodo(it used to cater to all tastes it would have pop acts but some years would have metal acts, hell nirvana played it once(wish i had been born when that happened) but the only somewhat good news to come from this is a new festival called legion fest will be hopefully debuting at some point



also since this is all about music i got a blast from the past while watching rage the other night as millencolin was on so was dio and parkway drive

Fav Songs? I don't know. I have a lot of choices. I just turn on Spotify these days and listen to some music which help me relax. I'd say Awake by Tycho is a good track if you wanna relax or concentrate or simply enjoy.

My Fav artists would be - Nirvana , Linkin Park, Backstreet Boys, Green Day, Metallica , Motorhead, Rage Against The Machine , Jesper Kyd (Assassin's Creed and other game soundtracks <3 ) , Saliva and a lot more.
