I used to download mods from that site and technically they ....KINDA ..helped me in some stuff. No not that I posted any sort of help, but searched for a help topic and found support. And I have heard a lot of people saying this about GTAForums..hence I try not to join that community

Sorry to hear it's unfriendly and unhelpful. I've noticed a lot of places like that usually have a small handful that honestly don't want to see a whole of other people doing it, I think it gives them some sort of real world validation. Ignore them, learn what you can, and keep going forward.

Many times in modding these things will happen and the biggest goal for the antagonist in these situations is to get people they dislike to quit doing what they are doing. If they quit, they won't get better and make their own stuff.

I know I give you a lot of shit, Goatcheese, and didn't really get along with ya too much early on, but you are extremely adept at the things you are interested in I've learned, so I don't think you should let anyone else's insecurities and negativity muffle your creativity.

Do your own thing. Being cool doesn't mean other people like you, being cool means you don't care what others think, you do your own thing, and march to the beat to your own drum. If I cared what people think I would have quit a long time ago.

Validation in these kind of things should always start with yourself, anyone else is just licking the sour taint oil of the ball-sack of idiocy.

Thanks man! That made my day actually. :hi As for the stuff I have learned so far, I had to do that all by myself, and I try to learn everyday. Just angers me when those users from GTAF flames on you for "not modding on their level."

The only thing standing in my way would be the lack of coding knowledge, and when asking around, you get answers like "check the topics" and when checking the topics, you get half assed topics which explains the stuff you know already, but the extra stuff you need, is never present on the forum... Guess I have to figure it out myself.

I'm so glad that i'm not the only one that hates GTAF

i tried to request an headshot mod that does not remove the head but these assholes on here went like "Make it yourself".


and i finally made the mod but i'm not giving it them those losers. and i know because i tried making friends on there but alot of people were treating me like shit and i tried to be nice to these guys.
