A structure built. The silver ropes will be textured red, but 2 line changes in the code can make them red without textures.

I think ive just had a heart attack!! :blink:

Even though its only the structure in place right now, im still in awe Blitz!

Cant wait to see how you do the actual animations for the ropes etc. :B-)

Have you actually thought of a way to cross along the ropes Blitz? Or is it going to be tricky getting the right animations to work.

Sadly, only one of the 3 sides of the scaffold is climbable. It's only to create the player angle in align with the ropes. I may however make only the front 2 scaffolds the way to the belt, but the back 2 climbable to do moves off of.

Sounds fair man, whatever you can do to even make it possible Blitz.

Now, im not too good with movement/animation properties, but from playing No Mercy there is no actual hand movement ie pulling along the ropes.

So will there be a different method by means of teleporting to the "X" once you get to the top of the scaffold etc??

Right now the rope climbing is a little jagged, but like this :

Has to be redesigned using different activators though.

Oh I see, very cool. So im presuming once you reach the "X" it will initiate the same animation as in a ladder match, to the get belt/X? considering its replacing that match!

The sheer thought into each hack you make is amazing Blitz.

The way I want it :

When you reach the middle
If you're in special
You get the "Belt"
When you reach the middle
And you're not in special
You fall

That's how I used to think cage and ladder matches worked... Until last year...

But are we gonna be able to:
Pull people down?
Have 2 people on the rope at once?
Dive off the rope?
Jump off turnbuckle to knock the guy down?

Okay, I'm not telling you to do all this. Hell, I wouldn't care if you didn't do any of it. I'm just wondering if you plan on being able to recreate some spots.

Don't think I expect you to do this! Again, don't start to feel overwhelmed! I'm just wondering.

I don't know yet. Climbing at a 45 degree angle is enough of a challenge that has eluded hackers since they wanted to make this match.
