Quote:

- Matt Hardy and Reby Sky will be appearing at the MCW Pro Wrestling event in Alliance, Ohio this Friday night at 7pm.

- Steve Austin revealed on his BrokenSkullRanch.com blog that he is headed back to the ranch this week to meet Shawn Michaels and his MacMillan River Adventures crew. Austin and Michaels will be hunting for the upcoming season of Shawn's show on the Outdoor Channel.

- As noted before, word is that The Rock vs. John Cena will close WrestleMania while The Undertaker vs. Triple H will go somewhere in the middle and CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho has been discussed to open the show.

A possible scenario for this would be Jericho coming out to kick off the show and cut a promo about how he doesn't want to wait for the main event and doesn't want to wait to beat Punk. [/quote]

World title match to open the show? I honestly think that's a bad move. Cause to me, the company doesn't value the title or the champion.

They did it last year.

But the World Title Match of Bryan vs Sheamus should close the show. It is the best of all the title matches.

He has to be. Between Punk vs Jericho and Bryan vs Sheamus, I'd rather let Punk vs Jericho go farther in the show. But, Smackdown really needs to main event a PPV again.

No, I'm not kidding. Daniel Bryan is one of the very best performers of the last decade. He is only surpassed by Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. Do I really need to bring up ANYTHING he has done in the independents?

Jericho is good, but he has peaked. His greatest talent was always his natuaral charisma. But he hasn't done anything exciting since 2005. And what has he done since his latest return? Oh yeah, he destroyed his single biggest nemesis of the last 5 years, KOFI KINGSTON!

And let's face it, CM Punk is just as much hype. Yes, he can work a good match. But we are only noticing him now because of the things he says. But these guys aren't going to have a debate. They are having a wrestling match.

Sheamus and Bryan will be awesome. There is a reason why they are having 25 minute matches at house shows, but not on TV. It's because the WWE know that it is going to be something special.

Yeah. I remember watching it and I rolled my eyes. A world title match being first on the card? Oh come on. I still think that title matches should be farther down the card.

To me, it means that either the title is worthless, one of the wrestlers is not marketable, or finally, the loser is going to do something later in the night to either a)secure a championship match or b)win the other world title by taking out one of the competitors in the match.

Then again... I don't run a wrestling promotion.

I totally see your point. Last year, the main focuses of the WWE Championship match were on the challenger and a non-participant.

Even female wrestlers dream of winning the WWE Championship in the main event at WrestleMania. WrestleMania is a huge deal. The main event is a huge deal. And a major championship should be just that, MAJOR. It doesn't matter how bad they make their champions and title holders look, but they MUST NOT devalue the major titles.

But then again, this is a logic that has been escaping the WWE for many years.

Well, I hate the fact that it was focused on Rock and Cena last year, and I am still pissed that it's still revolving around them this time round. Honestly, I thought that WM27's card devalued both world titles. And the worse thing is that the secondary titles are not even on the card.

It was? That was weird. I totally can't remember a IC title match happened. Wikipedia didn't mention anything about that too. All I remember was Sheamus (US champ) vs Daniel Bryan being pushed to be a dark match which later lead to a battle royal.

He meant that Big Show is challenging for the IC title THIS year. The IC champion was in a non-title tag match last year.

My Bad. *Brodus Clay tone*

I thought he was talking about WM27 because I was ranting about it, and that well, his post only consists of 4 words. XD
