There is heat on both Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk for swearing during Monday's RAW broadcast.
Both men lost their tempers during the almost live show. The show is normally taped earlier in the day, or aired with a delay of AT LEAST 15 minutes. This was not the case this week, and the WWE were unable to censor the foul language. But the networks managed to audio dub both incidents. It is not likely that either man will be punished, and it will likely blow over.
Del Rio lost his cool due to the conclusion of his match against Sin Cara. Del Rio had a bruised face going into the match (due to the unclear incident before SummerSlam). One minute into their match, Cara executed a badly performed dive through the ropes. Del Rio took most of the impact against his head, with Cara's hand striking Del Rio's bruises. Cara hit Del Rio's face so hard that he broke some of his fingers. As far as Del Rio was concerned, he had the worse injury from the incident and was ready to continue the match.
CM Punk lost his temper when a fan in the front row booed him at the very beginning of his promo. The fan was not a plant, and the segment was not scripted. No one seems to understand why Punk flipped out.
As previously reported by Nadimmania, there is a lot of heat on Sin Cara. It is not uncommon for wrestlers to break fingers during matches, but Cara is one of the very few to not finish the match. A lot of people are angry with Sin Cara because he has been on the active roster for so long and has shown little signs of improvement. He has also shown himself to be injury prone, usually because of his own fault. Del Rio has particular reason to be mad at Cara. Del Rio has had more matches against Cara than anyone else in the company, and this is not the first time that Cara was not able to finish a match because of a botched move on his own part. Del Rio has previously expressed his dislike for working with Cara because he feels like he always has to carry his fellow luchadore.
